Stock market today: Shares lose early gains, Sensex falls 200 points, Nifty nears 23,400.

Stock Market Updates: The Indian stock market got off to a good start on the last trading day of the week. Today i.e. 14th June, Sensex and Nifty have opened higher. On Friday, the BSE Sensex opened up 101.48 points or 0.13% at 76,912 while the NSE Nifty opened up 66.05 points or 0.28% at 23,464. However, after this the market was dominated by selling.

As a result, the Sensex fell 219.61 points or 0.29% to 76,591.29 at 9:33 am. While Nifty fell by 46.45 points or (0.20%) to 23,352.45 points.

The Sensex touched a low of 76,549.05 points and the Nifty touched a low of 23,334.25 in early trade.

On a sectoral basis, stocks related to public sector companies (PSE), infrastructure (Infra), FMCG (FMCG) and real estate (Realty) gained. On the other hand, shares of automobile (auto), IT and private banks (private banks) declined.

The biggest gainers in the Sensex were Titan, Mahindra & Mahindra, Hindustan Unilever, Asian Paints, Bajaj Finance and Sun Pharma. At the same time, Tech Mahindra, NTPC, JSW Steel, HCL Technologies and ICICI Bank were the biggest decliners.
