Storm in West Indies upturns fortunes of 3 players, suddenly included in Indian team, Sanju-Sivam-Yashaswi out

New Delhi. After winning the T20 World Cup, the Indian cricket team is taking West Indies by storm. Team India Stars led by captain Rohit Sharma have been stuck in a hotel in Barbados since June 29. The situation has become such that BCCI has had to make changes in the announced squad for the India-Zimbabwe series only because of this storm. Now 3 new names have joined the team going to Zimbabwe.

The BCCI made 3 changes to the squad announced for the tour of Zimbabwe on Tuesday. Led by Shubman Gill, the team includes Jitesh Sharma, Harshat Rana and Sai Sudarshan. These three players will replace Sanju Samson, Shivam Dubey and Yashaswi Jaiswal in the team. Sanju Samson, Shivam Dubey and Yashaswi Jaiswal are currently in Barbados with the World Cup winning team. Rinku Singh and Khalil Ahmed are also with the Indian team that won the T20 World Cup. However, the BCCI has not announced any replacement for the duo.

Regarding the return of Sanju Samson, Shivam Dubey and Yashaswi Jaiswal, it is not certain when they will return home. On arrival in India, the World Champion team will also have to participate in some honor ceremonies. It is believed that this may delay the trip of Sanju Samson, Shivam Dubey and Yashaswi Jaiswal to Zimbabwe. That is why the BCCI has already included three new players in the squad.

Jitesh Sharma, Harshat Rana and Sai Sudarshan have been included in the Indian squad for the first two T20Is against Zimbabwe only. The first two T20 matches between India and Zimbabwe will be played on July 6 and 7.
