New Delhi, Bollywood started off with a bang with Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s blockbuster film ‘Pathan’ and now Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel’s ‘Gadar 2’ has become the second highest grosser of the year. The film has entered the 400 crore club on its 12th day of release. Looking at the explosive speed of the film, it was believed that soon this film of Sunny Deol can cross the mark of 500 crores.
But according to the film’s 14th day collection, ‘Gadar 2’ seems to be slowing down. Yesterday i.e. August 24, Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel’s film earned in single digits for the first time. Yesterday, ‘Gadar 2’ registered a collection of Rs 8.20 crore only. After opening brilliantly with double digit collections, now the momentum of the film is seen to be stalling.
Multiple Earnings Than Spending-
Directed by Anil Sharma, the film had a budget of just 60 crore rupees and the film earned many times more than its expenditure at the box-office. The film stars Sunny Dale and Ameesha Patel along with Anil Sharma’s son Utkarsh Sharma and actress Simrat Kaur in lead roles. Actress Simrat Kaur has also entered Bollywood with this film.
This sequel to the all-time blockbuster film ‘Gadar’ in the year 2001 has received many times more love than the first film. Sunny and Ameesha’s chemistry is winning the hearts of the viewers.

If trade analysts are to be believed, the earnings of Anil Sharma’s film may decrease further in the coming days. Indeed, today Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Pandey starrer ‘Dream Girl 2’ released at the box office. It seems inevitable to see the negative impact of the release of this new film on ‘Gadar 2’.
