Suryakumar hit a century with sixes as Mumbai beat Hyderabad for their fourth win.

New Delhi. Mumbai Indians, who were almost out of the playoff race in the Indian Premier League, registered a resounding win against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Monday. After losing the toss, the Hyderabad team came to bat and eventually scored 173 for 8 thanks to a quick innings by captain Pat Cummins. On the strength of Suryakumar Yadav’s storming century, Mumbai easily achieved the target of victory with the loss of 3 wickets in 17.2 overs.

Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya won the toss and elected to bowl first against Sunrisers Hyderabad. The Mumbai bowlers did not give the team a chance to score runs after a quick start. Abhishek Sharma lost his wicket scoring just 11 runs while Travis Head played an innings of 48 runs off 30 balls. In the end, captain Pat Cummins played an innings of 35 runs off 17 balls to guide the team to a respectable score of 173 runs.
