Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s fans are still saddened by his demise. He will always be alive in his heart. Sushant entered Bollywood in 2013 with ‘Kai Po Hai’. Before that people knew him from the TV serial ‘Pavitra Rishta’. The big film of his career was ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’, in which he played Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Sushant had signed director Shekhar Kapur’s ambitious film ‘Paani’ and was very excited about it. Sushant had also started preparations for the character in the film and because of this he turned down several films as he wanted to focus fully on ‘Paani’. Casting director Mukesh Chhabra revealed about the actor that his hard work is misunderstood by many and seen as his arrogance.

The film for which he left everything could not be made
Mukesh Chhabra made his first film as a director with Sushant ‘Dil Bechara’. About ‘Paani’, Mukesh Chapra said in a conversation with Faridun Shaharyar, ‘He (Sushant) refused many films just because of water. People thought he became a star so he got arrogant but actually he was very happy and excited about the film. Everyone wants to work with Shekhar Kapur. I was there when the film was confirmed. He was happy when the children got the toy. Unfortunately the film was not made.

If the film is made, it will be dedicated to Sushant
Let us tell you that Shekhar Kapur was going to make ‘Paani’. After the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, he tweeted how Sushant was broken when the project was shelved. Yash Raj Films was supposed to produce ‘Paani’ but then the project was dropped. Shekhar hopes that ‘Paani’ will be completed one day. He tweeted, ‘If you travel with God or with your creativity, you have to walk with devotion and humility every step of the way. If it is God’s will, one day water will definitely happen. If that happens I will dedicate it to Sushant. But it has to be with people who have humility, not arrogance.

After Sushant’s death, Shekhar Kapoor tweeted that 6 months ago he came to know that Sushant was in depression. He further wrote that I wish he could do something.
