New Delhi. The Indian squad for the T20 World Cup has been announced. BCCI has shocked cricket fans by dropping Rinku Singh, who is emerging as a finisher in Team India. Left-handed batsman Rinku Singh has not been included in the 15-member Indian squad. Even Shubman Gill, who is captaining Gujarat Titans in IPL, could not make a place in the Indian team.

The BCCI on Tuesday announced the 15-member squad for the World Cup to be held in West Indies and America. Rohit Sharma will be the captain as expected. All-rounders Hardik Pandya and Rishabh Pant have returned to the team. Pandya has been made the vice-captain of the team.

Former all-rounder Irfan Pathan has questioned the selection of the Indian team. He said that Rinku Singh should have been in this team. Pathan tweeted that Rinku Singh’s past performance should have been kept in mind while selecting the team.
