The head coach said – we are ready

Currently, the Ireland team is ranked 11th in the world in T20. Ireland head coach Henrik Malan said that we have to play a lot of T20 matches this month before the World Cup. We have seven matches in 15 days which will be very helpful for us in preparation for the World Cup. “However, we will not play these seven matches as warm-up matches at all,” he said. We will try to win as many of these matches as possible. Henrik Malan said that the T20 format is a fast style game. We have to learn the art of playing this game at speed. The head coach said that this is the same team that we have prepared in the last 18 months.
