Under this, many countries including India, Australia, England, New Zealand announced their 15-member team before May 1. But many countries including Pakistan and West Indies have not declared their team.

According to Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) sources, many Pakistani cricketers are injured. For this reason the board is delaying announcing the team. Pakistan will announce their squad for the T20 World Cup on May 23 or 24. However, he has announced his squad for the tour of England and Ireland, captained by Babar Azam.

New Zealand first announced their squad for the T20 World Cup to be held from June 1. A day later, India, South Africa, England and Afghanistan each named their 15 players, who will play in the World Cup. A day after that, Australia, Nepal, Oman and Canada have also announced their teams.

On the other hand, 11 teams including Pakistan, West Indies, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Ireland are yet to announce their squads. West Indies may announce their squad on Friday, May 3. Other countries will also have to announce their teams by May 24.

According to the ICC, all countries can change their squads till May 25. But any change from May 25 will be subject to the approval of the ICC Technical Committee.
