Terrible road accident on Samriddhi Expressway in Maharashtra, 7 killed in collision between two cars

A major road accident has occurred on the Mumbai Nagpur Samriddhi Highway. 7 people have died in a collision between two cars. While 4 people are said to be injured. The accident took place around 11 pm. According to information, the accident took place when a diesel-laden Irtica car from Nagpur collided with a Swift Dzire car coming from the wrong side. The impact was so strong that the passengers in the car fell on the side of the road.

Jalna police reached the spot on getting information about the incident and pulled out both the cars with the help of a crane. The accident took place near Kadavanchi village on Samriddhi Highway in Jalna district. The injured have been referred to the district hospital for treatment.

13 people have died in road accidents in Karnataka

Thirteen people, including two children traveling in it, were killed and four others injured when a van allegedly collided with a truck at Gundenhalli Chowk in Byadgi taluk of Karnataka’s Haveri in the early hours of Friday morning. The children killed in the accident were four and six years old. Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh to the families of those killed in the accident.

According to police, the accident took place at 4.45 am when a van collided with a truck parked on the roadside on National Highway 48 at Byadagi in Haveri district. A senior official said a total of 17 people were traveling in the van. He said that 11 of these people died on the spot and two others were declared brought dead at the hospital. He said that two of the four injured have been admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) of the hospital.

Two including a woman died in a road accident in Rajasthan

A woman and her grandson were killed while 15 others were injured in a road accident near Rajasthan’s Sikar on Thursday morning. Police gave this information. The woman and her grandson were residents of Delhi. Sikar Additional Superintendent of Police Gajendra Singh Jodha said that the accident took place at around 6 am in Necha area of ​​Sikar. A family traveling in an SUV was returning to Delhi after visiting the Salasar Temple. The vehicle collided with another oncoming vehicle.

He said that Suman Devi, a resident of Delhi and her grandson Reyansh (one and a half years old) died on the spot in this accident. While Suman Devi’s husband Ramesh Kumar and Rekha have been referred to Jaipur in critical condition. He said that the rest of the injured are undergoing treatment at a local hospital. The police are investigating the matter.
