There was one such film which featured 10 great heroes, but the film did very poorly at the box office and the makers also lost crores of rupees. But even after being a flop, the film proved to be a lucrative deal for Akshay Kumar. We are talking about the 2002 released film Jaani Dushman.

The film starred Akshay Kumar, Sunny Deol, Sunil Shetty, Sonu Nigam, Arshad Warsi, Armaan Kohli, Rajat Bedi, Aftab Shivdasani, Aditya Pancholi and Sharad Kapoor in lead roles. Jaani Dushman movie was much talked about before its release. Everyone was eagerly waiting for this movie as it had 10 heroes. But when Jaani Dushman released, the film flopped badly at the box office. Which greatly disappointed the expectations of the viewers.

However, despite being a flop, the film Jaani Dushman proved to be a lucrative deal for Akshay Kumar. Khiladi Kumar revealed this in Karan Johar’s Koffee With Karan. Akshay Kumar said, ‘I was cast day by day in this film. I was paid daily until the villain killed my character, after which I was done shooting, but the character of the film was not yet finished. I must thank another hero who decided to start shooting, but was stuck in New York.

He continued, ‘When I came to know about this, I went to the director and asked him, should I come back? The director told me, ‘Your character is not dead, he is alive, he is in a coma’. After this, Akshay Kumar returned to the shooting of the film. He further revealed, ‘I shot for 5 more days and earned more money. I wanted to buy a house because I was in an urgent situation where I lived. The money I received from my known enemy I gave to the man selling the house. My known enemy gave me the flat where I live now.
