Mandira Bedi was devastated after losing her husband, but with time she somehow managed to pull herself together. He said that he faced a lot of difficulty in the first year, but then things got easier. Mandira has opened up about her husband’s demise for the first time and said that she still misses Raj Kaushal a lot, but now she has strengthened herself and is now focusing on her family.
During an interview with Humans of Bombay, Mandira Bedi said, ‘Of course I and my children remember him every day. It is not that we have forgotten them. The first year was very difficult. First Birthday, First Anniversary, First Diwali, First Christmas, First New Year. The second year was a little easier and the third year was even easier.
‘Had to support family and self’
Mandira Bedi further said, ‘As humans we always work to move forward. Now I can talk about this. It makes me emotional, but now I can. There was a time when I couldn’t talk, but I wouldn’t break. I started working only two months after this incident. I have to support my family and myself. I have to do this for my children.

‘Can’t listen to Kishore Kumar’s songs’
The actress said that there are some things that she still finds difficult to do. He said, ‘I have had his car for 6 years and now I want to sell it. I used to keep it for sentimental reasons and now I will cry when it goes. I’ve gotten over it for the most part, but I’ll always mourn it for the rest of my life. One thing I still can’t do is listen to Kishore Kumar’s music.
