In a recent interview, the actress revealed many things related to her career. According to Ameesha Patel, she was offered films by many veteran directors of Bollywood.
In a recent interview with Siddharth Kannan, the actress revealed that like Amrita Rao, her manager also cheated her. During the conversation, Amisha Patel, praising the film director Sanjay Leela Bhansali and his films, says, “I was going to work with Sanjay Leela Bhansali in many films. I don’t want to name those movies because those movies have already been made. It was my bad luck that nothing happened with Sanjay Leela Bhansali and my manager at that time.
Things didn’t work out because of the manager-
She further adds, “After parting ways with the manager, Sanjay sir told me that we can work together in a film, but he didn’t want to work with my manager”. According to the actress, Yash Raj Films, Sajid Nadiadwala and many veteran directors wanted to work with her. But because of the actress’s manager, she could not talk to any of the filmmakers.
Crossed the mark of 500 crores
Let us tell you that Ameesha Patel returned to the screen after a long time with ‘Gadar 2’ and what a tremendous comeback she made. ‘Gadar 2′ has emerged as the highest grosser of the actress’ career. ‘Gadar 2’ has earned Rs 500 crore at the box office.
Gadar 2 directed by Anil Sharma stars Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel along with the director’s son Utkarsh Sharma and Simrat Kaur in lead roles. You know actress Simrat Kaur has made her Bollywood debut with ‘Gadar 2’.
