The ICC announced the World Cup warm-up schedule, the first match with a formidable Indian team

New Delhi. ICC has announced the schedule of warm-up matches for the ODI World Cup to be held in India. Team India has to play two practice matches before the start of the mega tournament. India’s first match against Australia is scheduled three days after the ODI series. One match is against the world champion team while the other match is allowed to be played with the qualifiers.

All teams will get a chance to play 2-2 warm-up matches before the ICC ODI World Cup starts in India from October 5. The ICC announced the schedule of all warm-up matches to be played before the World Cup on Wednesday, August 23 on social media. The Indian team will play the first warm-up match against England on September 30 in Guwahati. In the T20 World Cup 2022, India were defeated by England by 10 wickets and knocked out of the tournament. While the second match will be played against Netherlands on October 3. Both these matches of the Indian team will be played from 2 pm.



10 teams are participating in the ICC ODI World Cup to be played in India from October 5 to November 19. This time the tournament is to be played in round robin format. Meaning each team will play against 9 other teams. The ICC World Cup match between India and Pakistan will be played on October 14 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
