The plane flew for 9 hours, 300 people were sitting inside, but it did not land anywhere! Returned home after traveling 7000 km

Imagine you are on a flight to visit your relative’s house. You must be so excited to go there, you carry special things for them. You stay in a plane for 9 hours, travel 7000 kms, but when you get off the plane and reach the same place from where you started your journey, how will you feel? Of course you will be disappointed. A similar disappointment recently happened to passengers of British Airways (British Airways Flight to Nowhere) who stayed on a flight for 9 hours but instead of reaching their destination, they returned home.

According to a report on the New York Post website, British Airways Flight 195 was traveling from London to Houston, America (London to Houston return flight) on Monday morning. This journey takes 10 hours 20 minutes. The Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft took off from London. He was in the air for 5 hours. He was reaching the coast of Newfoundland. Meanwhile, the plane had crossed the entire Atlantic Ocean. There was not much travel left. But suddenly the pilot turned the plane and started to return. It was reported that the plane was being diverted due to a minor technical fault.

The plane returned to the place from where it took off
After this the plane again crossed the Atlantic Ocean and reached London. In this way the aircraft stayed in the air for about 9 hours and covered 7000 km round trip. There were 300 passengers on the plane who were disappointed to return to the same place from where they started their journey. According to Fox News, the plane was landed safely. The airline did not specify the problem but sources said the jet’s engine was faulty. Because of that the plane had no trouble on this flight, it would have reached America, but there might be trouble on the next flight, so it was better to return the plane.

The airline apologized to the passengers
The airline said it apologized to the passengers and booked them on the next flight, provided them with accommodation and assured to compensate them for any damages they may have incurred. Travel experts at the website One Mile at a Time speculated that the flight may have returned to London because the engine manufacturer was Rolls-Royce and British Airways had a contract with Rolls-Royce. All inputs and facilities related to the contract must be at Heathrow Airport in England, so the plane must have been returned.
