The film, starring Annu Kapoor and Manoj Joshi, also premiered at the 77th Cannes Film Festival. The name of the film has been changed to ‘Hamare Barah’ on the request of the Censor Board. Earlier the name of this film was ‘Hum Do Hamare Barah’. Currently, this film is surrounded by controversies even before its release. Due to the story line of the film, the star cast of the film is receiving constant threats.
Makers filed a complaint
According to media reports, actresses seen in the film Hamare Barah are receiving threatening messages, rape and death threats. He has been very scared ever since. Gupta, actor Rahul Bagga, writer Sufi Khan, Aditi Bhatpahari, Ishlin Prasad, Neha Varshney and Muskan Varshney have taken notice of the matter and filed a complaint at the Versova police station.
