ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 is going to start from today i.e. 1st June. The first match of the tournament will be played between USA and Canada in Dallas on Saturday. However, it will be telecast in India tomorrow i.e. 2nd June. This will not be due to any technical problem, but due to the time zone. When it’s dusk in Dallas, it’s morning in India. This is the reason why this match can be watched live in the morning in India.
Actually, the USA vs Canada match will start at 7:30 pm local time on June 1, but in India it will be at 6 am the next day. Thus, the tournament will start from June 1, but the match will be played on June 2 in India. However, more than this match, everyone is more interested in the last warm-up match of the tournament to be held today i.e. June 1. This match will be played between India and Bangladesh at the newly built stadium in New York.
If we talk about the warm-up match between India and Bangladesh, the match will start at 10.30 am in USA time, but in India it will be at 8 pm. Thus this match will be held today. Cricket for the first time in the USA World Cup is played. Not only this, ICC has sold 7000 tickets for this warm-up match. Even more tickets are expected to be sold before the match, as Team India has a huge fan following.
As for the Nassau Cricket Stadium, a total of 8 matches of the T20 World Cup 2024 will be held here and after that the stadium will be demolished. It is being said that the cost of constructing this stadium is around Rs 250 crore, but this temporary stadium will be removed after the tournament. Any material used here is not permanent. Such features are used in other games. The seating capacity of this stadium is 36 thousand spectators.
