New Delhi. Former Sri Lankan spinner Muttiah Muralitharan, known as the ‘wizard’ of spin, has questioned the bowling of young Indian spinners. Muralitharan says most of India’s young spinners are moving away from the art of spinning the ball in an attempt to stop big shots. Muralitharan, the highest wicket taker of 800 in Test cricket, is currently in India. He is the strategic coach of IPL franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Muttiah Muralitharan said ahead of Chennai Super Kings vs Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) match, ‘The problem in India is that most of the spinners are not able to spin the ball because they are bowling a bit too fast. They have to understand that if the ball does not spin, it will be difficult for the batsman to dodge.

Muralidharan had this to say about the art of spin
Muralitharan is known for ‘doosara’ bowling. It is said that he has the ability to spin the ball even on the glass. Murali has troubled almost all the great batsmen of the world in his career. But when the ball takes a turn, he suddenly loses his mind to face it. In such situations, spinners have to learn the art of turning the ball to get better chances.
