Cases of Paper Leak: The NEET UG exam result for admission to medical colleges across the country was declared on June 4. In which 67 candidates were given first rank. After the declaration of the result, there was a controversy across the country and it is being said that the question paper was leaked before the exam started. 1- Paper leak cases in the year 2024
This year, the UP Police Constable Recruitment Exam was conducted on February 17 and 18 for 60,244 posts. In which more than 43 lakh candidates participated, but the exam was canceled after the paper was leaked. While announcing the cancellation of the paper, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the exam will be conducted in 6 months. Now the candidates are eagerly waiting for the re-exam date.
– UPPSC Review Officer/Assistant Review Officer (Preliminary) Exam-2023 paper was leaked. It was conducted on 11 February 2024 for a total of 411 posts of 334 ROs and 77 AROs at 2387 centers in 58 districts of Uttar Pradesh. Out of the 1076004 candidates registered for the examination, 64 percent of the candidates were present. RO/ARO exam was canceled due to paper leak.
– The UGC NET Exam was held on 18 June 2024. which was canceled on June 19.
2- There was a paper leak here in 2023
– The Hindi question paper of Telangana Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exam was to be released. The question paper was circulated on WhatsApp.
-Paper leak revealed again during Assistant Engineer recruitment exam in Telangana. Due to which the exam was canceled on March 5 in the year 2023.
– Papers of two subjects were leaked during the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination in Assam. At that time, the question papers of General Science and English were leaked, after which the Secondary Education Board of Assam (SEBA) was forced to cancel the examination.
The Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Mathematics paper of a private college in Maharashtra was also leaked. The paper was shared on WhatsApp. Meanwhile, the board caught 5 students using mobile phones.
– The paper of Rajasthan Elementary Teachers Eligibility (REET) exam in the year 2023 was also leaked. Rajasthan Police arrested many people including students in this case.
3- Cases of paper leak in the year 2022
– Forest Guard recruitment exam in Rajasthan was leaked on social media.
– The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) canceled the 67th Combined Preliminary Examination (PT) on May 8, 2022 after allegations of paper leak. The Economic Offenses Unit (EOU) arrested several accused including the mastermind in the case.
– This year, the Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) canceled the Junior Engineer (JE) Civil Mains written exam as the exam was leaked. The paper leak was confirmed by Ho police.
4- Paper leak cases in the year 2021
– The Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) paper was leaked this year. The UP government said the paper was leaked on WhatsApp. Whose master mind has been captured.
– Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority’s scheduled recruitment examination for 14 engineering and other posts was canceled after the examination was leaked.
– This year too, the NEET exam was conducted amid controversy over exam leaks after question papers were found on social media half an hour before the exam began.
5- Paper leak case in the year 2020
– The first three pages of the Physics question paper during the PU exams in Karnataka were seen online within hours of the exam starting. Bangalore University also postponed the final year B.Com exams after the paper was leaked by the authorities.
– UP Board Class 12 English paper was also leaked this year, which went viral online 2 hours before the exam.
6- Paper leak cases in the year 2019
– The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) Computer-Based Test (CBT) paper was allegedly leaked and screen-shots were shared on social media, following which the police swung into action and registered a case against the accused.
– Police arrested five school teachers in Odisha after the Mother India Language (MIL) paper of the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) examination went viral on social media ahead of the exam.
7- Paper leak cases in the year 2018
, CBSE Class 10 and 12 Maths and Economics exams were leaked. After which the exam was conducted again.
Gujarat police constable recruitment exam paper was also leaked this year.
8- Paper leak in the year 2017
– Maharashtra Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) exam paper was leaked in March.
Paper leak cases in the year 2016
– In the year 2016, the review officer (RO)/Assistant Review Officer (ARO) exam conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) was canceled following a paper leak at a center in Lucknow.
– In the year 2016, UPPSC’s Provincial Civil Services Examination or PCS was also cancelled. The second shift question paper was distributed at the same center as the first shift, due to which the paper was cancelled.
9- Paper leak cases in the year 2015
– Before the introduction of NEET, separate examinations were conducted all over India for admission to medical courses. One such exam that was conducted by CBSE called All India Pre-Medical Test or AIMPT created a huge controversy in 2015. When the paper leak was investigated, it was found that the question papers and answer keys were circulated through electronic devices in 10 states. After which the medical entrance exam was cancelled.
10- Paper leak cases in the year 2014
– In the year 2014, another common medical exam known as Combined Pre-Medical Test or CPMT was canceled after the question paper boxes were found to be tampered with.
