We think this has nothing to do with reality, but now a video of one such wedding is going viral on social media, after watching which you will wonder if this is a movie. A video of the wedding has been shared by travel influencer Dana Chang, in which the family is covering all the expenses of all the guests.
The influencer shared the video and wrote, ‘This looks like a crazy rich Asian wedding in real life.’ He said that the wedding couple gave an unforgettable experience to all the guests in their lives. The couple took the guest to China at their own expense and arranged for a 5-star hotel to stay there. A fleet of Rolls Royce cars and Bentley cars were deployed to welcome the guests and take them to the hotel. It looked like a wedding in Europe.
The influencer further explained in the video that phone booths were decorated with flowers, while newspapers were decorated with photographs of the bride and groom. There is a tradition in Chinese weddings, where guests gift the newlyweds a red bag full of money and wish them a good married life, but here it was the opposite. The newlyweds reversed the ritual and gave these envelopes to the guests, accepting nothing in return.
The influencer captioned the video that apart from the wedding gifts, the couple gave each guest $800 (approximately ₹66,000) in a red pocket. I’m still in awe of the red pocket ritual. Guests were also provided with paid return flights.
