Coincidentally, when Suhaag was made earlier, Amitabh Bachchan and Shashi Kapoor were seen together. The film earned well at the box office. Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar starrer Suhaag was released in 1994. Apart from these two actors, the film also featured Nagma and Karisma Kapoor. At that time all four were new stars and making their mark. Due to which this film was made in a very low budget. According to some media reports, the film was made for just Rs 3 crore. And when the film released, the makers made a huge profit. The film grossed Rs 12.14 crore worldwide. Due to such earnings, the film became one of the top ten grossing films of that year.

Apart from Suhaag, Ajay Devgan and Akshay Kumar have worked together in many films. After marriage, both of them were seen together in a film called Khaki. After this, the film Insaan was released by both of them. After this both the actors were not seen together for a long time. The pair then returned with Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe. Under which both did Simmba and Suryavanshi films together.
