‘Tiger 3’ Tsunami Hits Japan, Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif Magic Works, Film Earns Bumper in 1 Week

New Delhi. Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif’s spy-thriller ‘Tiger 3’ was released in the year 2023. On the occasion of Diwali, the film created a buzz in the theaters. The film was a huge hit at home and abroad. Now Tiger 3 is making waves in Japan after 6 months of release in India. Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif’s film was released in Japan just a week ago and so far it has been doing well.

According to a report published in Pinkvilla, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif’s ‘Tiger 3’ has earned 15 million JPY in a week. If converted into Indian currency, it comes to around 80 lakh rupees. However, ‘Tiger 3’ grossed less than ‘Pathan’ in Japan. Earlier, the Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone film had collected 25 million JPY in one week in Japan.

‘Tiger 3’ has become the second highest grossing film in the spy universe
Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif’s ‘Tiger 3’ is the fifth film in Yash Raj’s Jasoos universe, which turned out to be the second highest grosser. Shah Rukh Khan’s film ‘Pathan’, released in the year 2023, did the highest business of 1050 crore rupees worldwide. At the same time, Salman Khan’s ‘Tiger 3’ is at the second position with a collection of around Rs 450 crore. Earlier franchise films like ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ and ‘War’ have proved to be blockbusters at the box office.

Salman Khan’s ‘Sikandar’ will release on Eid next year
On the work front, Salman Khan will be seen in the film ‘Sikandar’, which is being produced by popular South filmmaker AR Murugadoss. Salman Khan announced his film on the occasion of Eid this year. The film will release in theaters next year i.e. 2025 on the occasion of Eid. Meanwhile, Katrina Kaif was last seen in the thriller ‘Merry Christmas’, which flopped at the box office. Now fans are eagerly waiting for his next film.
