Tragic accident in Rajasthan. 7 people killed, more than 20 injured in road accident

Seven people were killed and more than 20 injured in two road accidents in Rajasthan’s Jhunjhunu and Tonk districts. Police gave this information. Five people were killed and more than 20 injured in a collision between a minibus and a car in Jhunjhunu district on Monday, police said. Police said the accident took place near Thali village on Monday morning when a car collided with a mini bus after hitting a motorcycle. Five people died on the spot in this accident.

Singhana police station in-charge Kailash Chand Yadav said, ‘A car collided with a motorcycle and then collided with a mini bus, killing five people and injuring more than 20.’

He said the deceased have been identified as Karanveer (27), Rinku (25) and Rahul (19). The three were going from Hamirwas to Singhana in Jhunjhunu. Motorcyclist Suresh (40) and mini bus driver Hanuman (45) were among those who died in the accident. He said that the injured are being treated at Singhana hospital and some of them have been referred to Jhunjhunu.

He said that in another accident late on Sunday evening, a car crossed the divider and collided with a truck. After the collision, both the car and the truck overturned on the roadside.

Two friends traveling in the car died on the spot in the accident, while three others were seriously injured. As the condition of the injured was critical, they were referred to Kota late in the night. The deceased have been identified as Pradyuman (20) and Ayush (20).
