The Allahabad High Court has sought complete details of the affected candidates after the revision of the UP PCS J 2022 written exam result from the Public Service Commission. The court asked the commission chairman to file a personal affidavit and clearly state how many marks would be changed after correcting the errors found in the answer sheets. Complete details of candidates who were disqualified from being called for interview, details of marks obtained by them before and after examination. Also give details of marks obtained before and after revision of the candidates who are to be called for interview after revision. UPPSC: Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission may call 50 candidates for re-interview, revised result till August 30

A division bench of Justice SD Singh and Justice Anish Kumar Gupta, hearing the petition of PCS J candidate Shravan Pandey, after hearing petitioner’s advocate Vibhu Rai and commission counsel Nishith Yadav, ordered to show the answer sheets to all on the panel’s decision. Candidates are instructed to complete this task within the stipulated time without any interference.

Earlier, the affidavit and sealed inquiry report submitted by the commission’s deputy secretary Sunil Kumar in the court on July 1 clearly admitted that irregularities were found in the answer sheets of 50 candidates. The affidavit stated that the fake master codes on the two bundles of English answer sheets were substituted with each other. Due to this, the marks of 25 candidates of one bundle were exchanged with the marks of 25 candidates of the other bundle. However, the Commission in its affidavit has expressed the possibility that due to revision of the merit list, some selected candidates will drop out and replace them with other candidates. As a result, those who were left out of the merit list due to mistake will be called for interview and fresh selection list will have to be prepared.
