UPPSC PCS 2023 Main Exam Date: Combined State / Senior Subordinate Services (PCS-2023) Main Exam will be conducted by Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission from 26 to 29 September. The commission issued a notification in this regard on Monday. There will be a total of eight papers in the mains exam including General Hindi, Essay and six papers on General Studies. The main examination will be conducted in two sessions at Prayagraj and Lucknow from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm and 2 pm to 5 pm. On September 26, the general Hindi exam will be conducted in the first session and the essay exam in the second session. First and second papers of General Studies on September 27, third and fourth papers of General Studies on September 28 and fifth and sixth papers of General Studies on September 29 will be held in the first and second semesters respectively.
It may be noted that five lakh 65 thousand 459 candidates applied for PCS-2023. 345022 candidates appeared in the preliminary examination held on 14 May 2023. The commission declared the result of the preliminary examination on 16 June 2023, in which 4047 candidates were declared successful for the main examination. A total of 254 posts are to be recruited.
