UPPSC: Typing test could not be given properly on computer due to technical glitch, candidates protested.

Candidates appearing for Typing and Shorthand Examination conducted in Lucknow under Additional Private Secretary (APS) Recruitment-2022 by Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission performed at the Commission on Monday. The candidates alleged that due to a technical glitch, the candidates could not give the typing test properly on the computer on the first day. They demand that the exam be conducted again. The Computer Typing and Shorthand exam has started from 28th June, which will be conducted on various dates till 18th July. It is alleged that on the first day i.e. on June 28, due to a technical glitch, he did not get enough time for the computer typing test, due to which he missed half of the test.

On Monday, many candidates came to protest in front of the commission. The police turned away the candidates from outside the main gate of the commission. Candidates submitted the memorandum at the gate itself.

Commission may change the result of PCS J 2022
Public Service Commission can change the result of PCS J 2022. An affidavit filed by the commission’s deputy secretary in the High Court on Monday indicated that the results may be re-declared if necessary to correct errors found in the main examination copy. However, not finding the information provided in the affidavit by the Commission to be sufficient, the Court directed the Chairman of the Public Service Commission to file a fresh personal affidavit on several issues. A division bench of Justice SD Singh and Justice Anish Kumar Gupta is hearing Shravan Pandey’s plea.
