UPSC CSE Prelims Admit Card 2024: UPSC has released the admit card for Civil Services Preliminary Exam 2024. Candidates can download the admit card by visiting upsconline.nic.in. If candidates want, they can download the admit card by entering their registration id or they can download the admit card by entering their roll number. The UPSC exam will be held on 16 June 2024. UPSC conducts three phases of exams every year – Prelims, Mains and Interview: Civil Services Exam is conducted. Every year around 8-9 lakh youth appear for this recruitment exam.

UPSC has released important guidelines along with admit card
1. Scrutinize the e-admit card carefully and bring any discrepancy to the notice of the Union Public Service Commission immediately.
2. Mention your name, roll number, registration ID and name and year of examination in all your correspondence with the Union Public Service Commission.
3. To ensure admission to the examination hall in each session, you have to bring the e-admit card (printout) along with the original photo identity card, bearing no. Mentioned on e-admit card. The e-admit card must be preserved till the declaration of final results of Civil Services Examination, 2024.
4. It is your responsibility to keep the e-admit card secure and if someone else uses this e-admit card, it is your responsibility to certify that you have not engaged the services of an impersonator.
5. Candidates should note that in case of any error/mistake/discrepancy in encoding of details in the OMR answer sheet, especially regarding roll number and series code of the test booklet, the answer sheet will be rejected.

6. Please note that no candidate will be allowed inside the examination venue 30 minutes prior to the commencement of the examination i.e. at 09:00 in the morning session and after the close of admission at 02:00 in the afternoon.
7. Candidates are advised to reach the examination venue on time for frisking.
8. Candidates should note that they will not be allowed to appear for the examination at any other examination venue other than the one mentioned in their e-admit card.
9. Read “Special Instructions to Candidates Admitted to the Examination” under “Examination Rules” available in the Examination Notification and containing “Poster” instructions displayed outside the Examination Hall.
10. Your candidature for the examination is provisional.

11. Candidates are not in possession of any mobile phone (even in switched off mode), pager or other electronic device or programmable device or pen drive, smart watch, any storage media etc. or camera or bluetooth device or any other device. Equipment or related accessories that can be used as means of communication should not be in switch on or switch off mode during the examination. Any violation of these instructions will result in disciplinary action and ban from future examinations.
12. Candidates will be allowed to carry ordinary or regular wrist watch inside the examination hall/building. However, watches with any special accessories that can be used as communication device or smart watches are strictly prohibited and candidates are not allowed to carry such watches inside the examination hall/building.
13. Penalty (Negative Marking) will be incurred if the candidate gives wrong answer in both the question papers of the examination.
14. Answers marked with any pen other than black ball point pen will not be evaluated.
15. Candidates are advised not to bring precious/valuable items and bags to the examination hall, as their safety cannot be ensured. The Commission shall not be liable for any loss incurred in this connection.

16. Candidates whose photograph is not evident on the e-admit card or whose name and date of photograph are not mentioned, should carry a photo identity card and two passport size photographs for admission to each session of the examination along with the date on which the photograph was taken), one for each session. 17. Candidates, please ensure that all details like name, photograph and QR code in their e-admit card are correct. If there is any discrepancy, they can approach the Union Public Service Commission in this regard.
18. Candidates who have selected their own scribe, please note that their scribe will be allowed to appear in the examination only if such scribe has a separate e-admit card. The e-admit card will be issued separately for the scholars themselves.
19. All candidates are advised to visit and confirm their examination center at least one day before the examination.
20. If you have changed your name following the legal process, please carry the Government issued photo identity card and/or original gazette notification of change of name in every session of Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2024. Apart from this, you have to submit an affidavit at the time of examination.
