UPSC IAS Prelims Exam 2024: What should be the study schedule one month before UPSC Prelims Exam?

UPSC IAS Prelims Exam 2024: The Civil Services Examination Prelims (CSE) exam conducted by UPSC will be held on 16 June 2024. Clearing UPSC Prelims is mandatory to become an IAS, IPS officer. Candidates who are successful in this examination are given an opportunity to appear in the main examination. It is almost a month left for the prelim exam to start. Let’s know how to prepare one month before the exam and what should be the study schedule.

One to three days: Can revise modern Indian history and current events. This is a very long and wide topic, which is very important for the prelims exam.

Days Four to Six: Candidates can spend these days preparing to improve their understanding of Indian politics and governance, including constitutional issues, panchayati raj, public policies and rights issues.

Day Seven: Review economic and social development, sustainable development, poverty, inclusion, demographic and social sector initiatives.

The schedule should look like this in the second week

Eighth to Tenth Day: May cover physical, economic and human geography of India and the world.

Days Eleven to Thirteen: Candidates can focus on environmental ecology, biodiversity and climate change, which are integral parts of the preliminary examination.

Fourteenth Day: On this day candidates can revise basic science and technology, which are mostly related to current events.

Fifteenth to Twenty-first Day: In this week, candidates should list those subjects. In which they are weak.

Twenty-second to twenty-seventh day: During this time, thoroughly research all the weak subjects you have listed. Solve Mock Tests, Previous Years Papers.

Twenty Eighth and Nineteenth Day: Read current affairs magazines on these two days. Review important notes made and jot down important information.

Day 30: Rest and keep yourself mentally and physically healthy.
