UPSC IAS Prelims Exam 2024: The Civil Services Examination Prelims (CSE) exam conducted by UPSC will be held on 16 June 2024. This is the first step for candidates who dream of becoming an IAS, IPS officer. UPSC CSE Prelims exam will be conducted in 80 exam centers this year, let us tell you that a total of 1,056 posts will be filled through this recruitment exam. Out of which 40 posts are reserved for PwPD category candidates. Let’s know the dos and don’ts a month before the exam, so as to strengthen the preparation so far.

IFS officer Ramesh Bishnoi, who has cleared the UPSC exam four times, shares tips for UPSC CSE Prelims on X. But he wrote that with only one month to go, here are the dos and don’ts.

– Avoid buying new study materials that come in the market. Revise based on what you have already covered and made notes.

If you want to crack the UPSC CSE Prelims exam, solving the mock test is most important. This will help you understand where you are weak and what mistakes you make most while solving the exam. Also, learn from your mistakes and try to correct them.

– Past several years question papers are like gold for you. Analyze Last 10 Years UPSC Prelims Question Papers. Understand many questions and revise their concepts.

Let us tell you that UPSC Prelims General Studies Paper – I will be conducted for a total of 200 marks. Candidates will be given 2 hours time to complete the paper. Paper II will also be of 200 marks and two hours time will be given to solve this paper. UPSC CSE Prelims is a qualifying paper. His marks will not be added to the final result. Candidates who clear this exam will be given an opportunity to appear in the UPSC Mains Exam.
