All the preparations for the Civil Services (PT) exam to be held on Sunday have been completed. Patna Divisional Commissioner Kumar Ravi instructed 44,064 candidates in two shifts at Sri Krishna Memorial Hall on Friday for the malpractice-free examination in a peaceful environment. Additional District Magistrate, Law and Order Officers were apprised of their responsibilities by Rajesh Roshan. Manish Kumar, Labor Superintendent, Patna-cum-Additional Incharge Magistrate, was nominated in the room of Nodal Officer of District Control Room. Patna DM Sir Kapil Ashok, Municipal Commissioner Patna Municipal Corporation Animesh Kumar Parashar were present in the meeting.
Appointment of five officers as inspectors
Five officers have been appointed as inspectors. According to the Centre, 92 Local Inspection Officers and the same number of Assistant Inspectors-cum-Static Magistrates were appointed.
Entry closed half an hour early
In any case, admission will not be granted in the first shift at 9.00 am and 30 minutes before the scheduled time of examination and in the second shift at 02.00 pm.
1056 vacancies will be filled by UPSC Civil Services Exam 2024. There are 180 vacancies for IAS under UPSC CSE 2024 out of which 73 posts are unreserved. 24 are reserved for SC, 13 ST, 52 OBC and 18 EWS. There are 150 vacancies in IPS out of which 60 posts are unreserved. 23 posts are reserved for SC, 10 ST, 42 OBC and 15 EWS category. Talking about IFS, 55 posts will be filled under this service from CSE 2024 onwards. 23 posts are unreserved. 9 posts are reserved for SC, 5 for ST, 13 for OBC, 5 for EWS.
All the candidates are advised to visit and confirm their exam center at least one day before the exam.
