UPSSSC JE Vacancy: Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission Junior Engineer Recruitment Application Link Opened For B.Tech, BE Degree Holders. In keeping with the court’s order, the Commission has extended the last date of application till July 13 to give opportunity to B.Tech, BE degree holders to apply. Earlier last date to apply was 28 June 2024. Apart from this, the last date for payment of fees has been fixed as 20 July 2024. Let us tell you that after fighting a legal battle for 21 years, BTech degree holders have got an opportunity to apply for the recruitment of Junior Engineer. In its June 7 order, the Supreme Court directed the Subordinate Services Selection Commission to accept applications from B.Tech degree holders for the recruitment of junior engineers in the irrigation department. In 2003, B.Tech candidates were excluded from JE recruitment of Irrigation Department. Since then, B.Tech degree holders were demanding the opportunity because due to the limited recruitment of Assistant Engineers, B.Tech candidates do not get a fair chance to go into government service, except for JE recruitment of Staff Selection Commission, B.Tech candidates get a fair chance to go into government service. not Eligibility is also valid for JE Recruitment of Railways.
In compliance with the Supreme Court’s order, the Commission issued a notice on Wednesday saying, ‘In compliance with the order passed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court, candidates with BE B.Tech (Civil) degree will be issued advertisement number 08/. 2024 Junior Engineer (Civil) with NIC Technical Assistance) online application facility has been provided under Main Examination. Interested candidates can submit the application by following the instructions given in the advertisement in question and selecting the option given on the web portal upsssc.gov.in for BE B.Tech Civil Degree holders. Candidates with BE B.Tech Civil Degree have to submit their options regarding post selection at the time of document verification, which will be intimated at the same time.
B.Tech BE candidates should also note that their candidature will be subject to the final order of the court.
The vacancy increased to 4612
Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission has once again increased the number of vacancies for the recruitment of Junior Engineer. Now the number of vacancies has been increased from 4376 to 4612. Proposals were invited for the recruitment of 2847 posts in March 2024. A few days ago it was increased to 4376. Now the commission has issued a new notification on Monday and increased 236 vacancies (civil). In which 198 posts are for general selection and 38 posts are for special selection. These posts belong to Uttar Pradesh Housing and Development Council. Now out of total 4612 vacancies, 3739 are for general selection and 873 are for special selection.
Talking about the age limit, the minimum age of the candidate should be 18 years and maximum 40 years. Age relaxation will be given to reserved category candidates as per rules. Please note that age will be calculated as on 1st July 2024. Selection for these posts in UPSSSC will be done through written test and interview.
