Nana Patekar and Rishi Kapoor worked together in this film. Nana Patekar, recalling what happened during the film, said during an interview that Rishi used to agree to give more than one take with great difficulty. Not only this, Nana Patekar also said that Rishi Kapoor used to misbehave on the sets.

Nana Patekar spoke about Rishi Kapoor in an interview with TheLlantop, saying, “He was very abusive.” After this, when he was asked if Rishi was more abusive than him, Nana said, “Alas! He was very angry. It will give only one stroke, not more. He would say, ‘We are extemporaneous, not theater people like you, what nonsense you are talking, come on.’

Nana Patekar said that whenever Rishi is asked about taking another, he loses his temper. Nana said, “I once asked him to give me another shot because the first shot was so bad. He said, ‘Who is the director here? Shafi or you? Take it away buddy. He gave another take with great difficulty, but it was also bad. I told him, ‘Chintu, this is nonsense’, so he started swearing. Such dirty talk! The fifth time he said, ‘Now I will kill you!’ But it was the best take! This was the same technique that was shown in the film. When I came for dubbing I told him look, the fifth shot is kept, he said (angrily), ‘Yeah, that’s good, man.’ We talked a lot when he went for treatment.

Recall, in the year 2018, Rishi Kapoor was diagnosed with leukemia and went to New York for his treatment. After undergoing treatment, he returned to India and died in the year 2020.
