The recruitment process for basic teacher vacancies in Uttarakhand has started. Recruitment will be done in two phases. On Friday, Education Minister Dr. Dhansinh Rawat ordered to release the district wise recruitment notice within a week. 2917 posts will be recruited in the first phase. While in the second phase, 451 posts will be recruited. Director of Basic Education Ramakrishna Unyal on Friday released district wise vacancy details for the recruitment of Basic Teacher. He held a meeting with all the DEO-Basics of the state through online medium and issued necessary guidelines regarding the recruitment process. Uniyal said that all the districts have updated the number of vacancies.
13 posts have been reserved for D.Ed candidates by order of High Court. All the DEOs have been instructed to complete all the formalities and release the recruitment notification by Tuesday.
DIET-D.El.Ed Candidates Concerned with Simultaneous Recruitment for All Posts
The government has started the recruitment of basic teachers, but the preparation has left over 800 D.El.Ed youths in the state somewhat worried. In fact, 155 waiting category youths of the year 2019-20 batch have completed their second to fourth semester of D.El.Ed, but now the first semester exam is pending. The result of this exam will be available by September-October only. While the remaining 327 youths of their batch have completed their D.L.Ed in December 2023. Similarly, the youth of the year 2020-21 batch will also be able to complete their D.El.Ed by December this year. He says that if all the posts are recruited simultaneously, the job opportunity will be taken away from his hands.
