Veteran spinner tweeted from Asia Cup, PM Modi’s reply came, then..

New Delhi. For India, Wednesday 23 August became a never-to-be-forgotten historic day. Creating history in the space sector, the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) successfully soft-landed the LM with lander ‘Vikram’ and rover ‘Pragyan’ on the South Pole of the Moon. On this grand success there is a wave of happiness all over India and everyone is congratulating. Veteran spinner R Ashwin also celebrated the feat on social media.

The entire country is celebrating the successful soft landing of Chandrayaan 3. According to Indian time, it touched the lunar surface at around 6:04 pm. According to officials, after the soft-landing, the rover descended to the lunar surface from inside the lander using one of its side panels, which acted as a ramp.

According to ISRO, the lander and rover will have one lunar day (equivalent to about 14 Earth days) to study the lunar surface and surrounding atmosphere. However, scientists have not ruled out the possibility of both remaining active for one more lunar day.

Veteran spinner R Ashwin was dropped from the recently selected Asia Cup squad. The veteran was disappointed on Monday but something happened on Wednesday that made him happy. Ashwin congratulated Isro for the big success and wrote that we have created history. Responding to this tweet, the Prime Minister wrote, Congratulations to the entire country and thanks to ISRO, which made this possible.

Ashwin was very happy after PM Modi’s reply and did not hesitate to express it. How are you sir, I am very glad that you replied to my tweet. I feel very honored.
