After 17 years, India has ended the long wait by winning this title. This World Cup win was important for captain Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli as they will no longer play for India in all three formats. Team India, who came to play in the T20 World Cup 2024 with the dream of winning the ICC T20 World Cup, ended the journey by winning the trophy. After winning the toss against South Africa, the Indian team scored 176 runs thanks to Virat Kohli’s fifty and Akshar Patel’s strong innings. Team India won the final by restricting South Africa to 169 runs on the basis of excellent bowling by Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya and Arshdeep Singh.
