New Delhi. The Indian cricket team has ended the long wait of the fans by winning the ICC T20 World Cup. India has not won any ICC title since 2013. Team India clinched the T20 World Cup trophy with a thrilling last over win over South Africa. After this match, captain Rohit Sharma and veteran Virat Kohli were seen celebrating on the field with coach Rahul Dravid. BCCI shared a video from the dressing room where all the players are seen celebrating.
The Indian team has created history by winning the ICC T20 World Cup. India became the first country in the history of the tournament to win this title by going unbeaten. In 2007, Team India won the first edition of the ICC T20 World Cup. Team India has not got such success after Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s captaincy. After 17 years, the Indian team has become the T20 World Champion under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma. After the victory, there was a huge celebration in the field. The whole world witnessed this and the video went viral on social media, but no one in the dressing room saw the celebration.
