Shreyas Iyer IPL 2024 Winner Celebration: Kolkata Knight Riders defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by 8 wickets in the final match of IPL 2024 on Sunday night, May 26, to clinch the title. This is KKR’s third IPL title, having previously won the trophy in 2012 and 2014. KKR’s celebrations were different when captain Shreyas Iyer came to collect the trophy after winning the match. After winning the toss and batting first, Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Kolkata Knight Riders in the first 6 overs. The team could not recover after explosive batsmen like Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma were dismissed in the first two overs. SRH had no success against KKR’s devastating bowling attack and were bundled out for 113 runs in 18.3 overs. Andre Russell top-scored with 3 while Mitchell Starc and Harshit Rana got 2 wickets each.
