In the video, a trailer truck is seen overturned due to the tornado. As soon as the person shooting the video saw the overturned truck, he stopped his vehicle and immediately ran towards the trailer truck and tried to rescue the occupants. Fortunately, the driver was not injured.
In Lincoln, the tornado also hit an industrial shed. Lancaster County officials said at a news conference that about 70 people were inside when the roof collapsed and were evacuated, but three were injured.
More than 70 tornadoes were reported across the US by the National Weather Service (NWS), most of them around the transportation hub of Omaha in Nebraska. The tornado left nearly 11,000 homes without power in Nebraska.
