New Delhi: The trailer of Ashutosh Rana and Vijay Raj starrer psychological thriller series ‘Murder in Mahim’ was released on May 3, which has increased the curiosity of the audience about the series. The 1 minute 56 seconds long trailer takes the viewers to Mumbai in 2013. In this, Vijay plays the role of a policeman and Ashutosh plays the role of a journalist. The series uncovers the mystery and mystery behind the gruesome murders of Mumbai.
Ashutosh Rana played the role of Peter and Vijay Raj played the role of Zende in the series. A reconciliation of the lost friendship between the two is shown. The trailer shows a brutal murder at Mahim station. Peter gets seriously entangled in the investigation of the case and the complications escalate when his own son Sunil is found to be a suspect in the case. Amidst all this, Peter and Xande get caught up in a world of hidden desires, blackmail and unrequited love. They find the killer and face many big problems along the way. With the revelation and twist of each mystery, a web of many more mysteries unfolds.

Talking about his role, Ashutosh said, ‘I am most excited when it comes to difficult characters. Peter is a character that connects with me deeply in the murder investigation, which has multiple storylines that reveal social stigmas around race, gender and sexuality. This is the beauty of the show.
Raj Acharya has directed the series
Vijay Raj said, ‘The most unique aspect of Zende’s character is his personal life. My attempt is to bring life to this character, which is evident in the investigative scenes, but also aggressive. So, it was exciting to portray the emotional parts of my character and bring out the full range of emotions on screen. Based on the popular book by author Jerry Pinto, the series is directed by Raj Acharya and produced by Tipping Point Films and Jigs Pictures. Shivani Raghuvanshi and Shivaji Satam are in lead roles in this series.
