Such cases have come to light in the past as well. A similar incident has also happened with all-rounder Vijay Shankar, who was left out of the Indian team.

Recalling the incident, the 33-year-old all-rounder said he was on a tour of England for the World Cup in 2019. Before an important match against Pakistan, some Pakistani cricket fans misbehaved with him and used foul language. But he did not turn back and did not say a word.

In a video going viral on social media, he can be heard saying, ‘A Pakistani cricket lover came to us and started swearing. This was my first experience before the India-Pakistan match. But I didn’t say a word to him.

Talking about the match between India and Pakistan, the blue team won by 89 runs. In this thrilling match, Team India batted first and scored 336 runs for the loss of 5 wickets. Chasing the target, the Pakistan team managed to score only 212 runs in the rain-affected match. In this way the blue team was able to win the match by 89 runs.

Note: Pakistan were given a revised target of 302 runs to win in 40 overs in the rain-affected match.
