Aqib Javed said on his YouTube channel, ‘This season of Virat Kohli is great. If one season is amazing, another season can be a downer. He is not as steadfast as Babur. A good captain should have 2-3 qualities. One is to perform to the extent where he inspires the team and is always ahead as captain. Another quality a good captain must possess is to make his teammates believe in his abilities as a player.
He said, ‘I have seen some captains who constantly test their players and they are always under pressure. This can introduce selfishness in the team which is not good. The third is to be fair and honest when making team decisions, it’s the little things that matter.
