This time, without naming anyone, Vivek has targeted religious gurus who have turned ‘religion into a business’. Targeting the ‘modern religious leaders’, he said that these people live luxuriously, Buddha never lived like this. You can’t even think of them that way. The ashram is like a 5 star hotel with luxury vehicles, all facilities, for these religious leaders.
‘Today’s clerics live in luxury’
Vivek said that Osho is the Buddha of today’s age. Although they commercialized religion but not on such a large scale. In fact the director recently gave an interview to Geist News. In the promo video that came out, he says, ‘Look at the money of religion, have you seen the ashrams of these modern religious gurus etc.? 5 star, 7-8-10 star resorts will be ashamed of them. They travel in private chartered planes. Imagine Buddha flying around in a private chartered plane. 10-50 of his bodyguards are walking with him. People are standing in front and back. As he stands, someone ties his shoelaces. Someone is making him wear a necklace.’
Targeted for posting photos with celebrities
Vivek continues, ‘I have seen all this with my own eyes. I’m not talking about hearsay. They have rooms which you are buying for 20k each. Then they are sometimes making videos with Akshay Kumar, sometimes with Kangana Ranaut and sometimes with Karisma Kapoor, taking photographs. What religion is this? Osho also built an ashram. It was fine till Osho. He started capitalism. I like Osho but Osho was not so commercialized. He himself lived in his ashram and did not care about the world. He insulted every religion. He praised every religion. There is no person in the history of the world more learned and eloquent than him. In times to come he will be equal to Gautama Buddha. It still is today.
