Producer-director Vivek Agnihotri is busy promoting his film ‘The Vaccine War’ these days. Recently the film was also screened in America. Vivek’s film is slated to release in September, just like Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Jawaan’ and Telugu superstar Prabhas’ ‘Salar’. Vivek often takes a dig at Bollywood stars and their films. Now when he did the same with ‘Jawaan’ and ‘Saalar’, he got a decent response from Shahrukh and Prabhas fans.
Vivek Agnihotri Xed a meme, which read that children are waiting for Shahrukh’s film Jawani, men for Prabhas’s film and wise people for The Vaccine War. Sharing this meme, Vivek wrote that this is why I love meme makers. This way of promoting ‘The Vaccine War’ scared both Stark’s fans and took to the field. Some users termed Vivek’s viral post as a cheap way to promote his film. A user replied hahaha..jawan, need sympathy by taking kaka’s name, another wrote that you are right, this is a meme, no one takes you seriously.
Earlier, Vivek attacked Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar in an interview. Citing the example of Amitabh Bachchan, Vivek said, “I believe there was a need to tell real and honest stories, which has stopped after Amitabh Bachchan’s Shehenshah.” Especially the films of Karan Johar and Shahrukh have damaged the cultural tension of India in a disastrous way. ‘The Vaccine War’ will release in theaters on September 28 this year.
