Every year the National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the medical entrance exam NEET UG. Through this exam one can get admission in courses like MBBS/BDS. While on the one hand NEET UG controversy is increasing day by day, on the other hand on Wednesday the Ministry of Education canceled the UGC National Eligibility Test C UGC-NET June 2024 exam. Meanwhile, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan today held a press conference regarding irregularities in NEET exam and UGC NET paper. It is worth mentioning that after the malpractices in the NEET exam, due to the leak of the UGC NET exam paper, questions have been raised about the standard of education across the country. The Education Minister said that transparency will not be compromised at any cost. Education Minister said these things-
- We are in constant touch with Bihar government regarding NEET exam. Some information is also coming to us from Patna. Even today there is some discussion.
- Pradhan said that the future of children will be given top priority in this entire episode. I also want to inform you that the government is going to constitute a high level committee.
- Any kind of negligence will not be entertained in the investigation of these cases.
- NEET UG exam has not been canceled yet.
- The government is setting up a high-level committee to probe.
- The government will not spare any criminal.
- Conducting zero error exams is a priority of the government.
