121 people were killed and dozens injured in a major accident in Uttar Pradesh’s Hathras on Tuesday. The event was organized near Phulrai along the GT road on the Hathras to Eta route. Satsang arrangements were made on 100 bighas of vacant land keeping in mind the thousands of devotees coming to the programme. Food and drink arrangements were also made for thousands of people. The program was attended by a large number of people from Uttar Pradesh as well as Delhi and Haryana. Some locals have claimed that more than one lakh people attended the event.

The accident was caused by wet soil
The soil became moist due to waterlogging due to recent rains. There was a danger of people slipping because of the moist soil. There was a slippery slope between the road and the farm. Because the ground was hurriedly prepared for this event. After the harvest the game was empty. The event venue was not like a flat field. Naturally, the field has many ups and downs.
