What is Gandhiji’s connection with ‘The Delhi Files’? Vivek Agnihotri reached Sevagram, read more than 100 books

Mumbai. Filmmaker Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri is busy these days preparing for his film ‘The Delhi Falls’. He is known for making films on important issues and for this he does thorough research first. In this series, he went to Mahatma Gandhi’s Ashram in Sevagram, Maharashtra with his next film. Vivek said that he came here for research for his next film. Vivek Ap shared some pictures of Gandhi’s ashram on social media.

While sharing these pictures, Vivek Agnihotri wrote in the caption, “I am here to research ‘The Delhi Files’. I spent a few days at Gandhiji’s Ashram in Sevagram. People from all over the world have seen this cottage. Several famous journalists used to come here to visit Gandhiji. Every parent must bring their children here. It’s really inspiring.”

Vivek Agnihotri traveled from Kerala to Kolkata and then to Delhi to gather accurate and correct information for his film. Vivek has read more than 100 books and 200 articles related to this historical event. This is the premise of his film.

Vivek Agnihotri is known for films like ‘The Kashmir Files’ and ‘The Tashkent Files’. Earlier he directed ‘The Vaccine War’ starring Anupam Kher, Nana Patekar, Saptami Gowda and Pallavi Joshi. ‘The Vaccine War’ is a vaccine journey made by Indian scientists during the Corona period. In this, Vivek has shown the dedication of women scientists very well.

Let us tell you that in 2022, he announced ‘The Delhi Files’. On X he wrote, “The film will have no big stars, only the story will be big.” This film will be released next year i.e. 2025. From Vivek’s interview and information related to the film, it seems that this will be a film based on Gandhiji and pre-independence.
