New Delhi: Kamal Haasan and Deepika Padukone’s film ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is all set for release. The promo video of the film gives a glimpse of its cool visuals and story. The audience is also curious to know that Deepika Padukone is playing the role of a pregnant woman in the film. During a discussion with the film’s team, Kamal Haasan predicted what career Deepika Padukone’s child might choose when he grows up.
Kamal Haasan believes that Deepika’s child can become a film producer one day. Recalling Nag Ashwin’s childlike behavior, Deepika said, ‘I was in Bombay. It was a long break as we were shooting on different schedules. I hadn’t heard from him in a while. I saw this missed call of a snake and wondered what it was. He said, ‘I called you just to tell you that we shot our first day with Kamal sir.’
Kamal Haasan’s funny statement created a stir
Then Kamal Haasan pointed to the baby bump of the actress and said, ‘That’s why this film has been made. We hope this kid also makes a film someday. Everyone, including Deepika, started laughing at the veteran actor’s funny statement. Deepika and Ranveer Singh announced their pregnancy on 29 February 2024 in an Instagram post with the caption, ‘September 2024…Deepika and Ranveer.’
Amitabh Bachchan played the role of Ashwatthama
Deepika plays pregnant lab subject SUM-80 in the Prabhas-Amitabh Bachchan starrer. The promo shows that the child she is carrying is believed to be Kalki Avatar, the last and tenth incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Amitabh plays the immortal warrior Ashwatthama, who was cursed by Lord Krishna in the Mahabharata. Disha Patni also has an interesting role in this film. She will be seen in action.
