Amidst the uproar in the country over the NEET UG exam, the Health Ministry has suspended the NEET PG exam. The ministry has taken this major decision in view of the allegations of cheating and manipulation in the examination.

On June 22, the Ministry of Health has postponed the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for Post Graduate (NEET PG). This important decision has been taken in view of the allegations against the NEET UG examination. The ministry said that we will re-examine the strength of the NEET PG examination process.

A day before the postponement of the NEET PG exam, the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences on June 21 said that a few days before the exam, our officials had received information that some people on social media were misleading NEET PG exam students. Giving them wrong information. The board said that these people will give question papers to students for money.

The board has lodged an FIR with the police against such people. These people are accused of misleading and cheating students. Students have been advised not to come in contact with any such activities and people. Students may face trouble in future if they are found involved in any such activity.

So far NBEMS and the Ministry of Health have not given the paper leak as the reason for postponing the NEET PG exam. The ministry has said that the reason for postponing NEET PG is in view of the allegations of transparency in all examinations in the country.

UGC NET exam has also been canceled due to paper leak. Now CBI is investigating this matter. Another competitive exam CSIR-NET has also been canceled due to logistical reasons and other reasons.
