Women’s cricket team selection is happening here in Bihar, know the process of team selection

Jamui. Several Ranji Trophy matches were organized in Patna by the BCCI this year. However, the performance of the Bihar team was not so good. But the Ranji Trophy was much talked about and cricket came alive in Bihar once again. Now Bihar women’s cricket team is being selected by continuing this trend. The entire selection process will take place in Jamui. Under-19 and senior teams of Bihar women’s cricket team will be selected during this period.

In this regard, many different matches will be played for the next 8 days and the team will be selected based on the performance. It may be noted that BCCI has announced its complete schedule for its upcoming season. In which the team of Bihar will also participate and in this regard Bihar Cricket Association has entrusted the responsibility of selecting the women’s team to Jammu District Cricket Association.

All matches will be played on 2 grounds
Giving information about this, Jammu District Cricket Association President Manoj Kumar Singh said that this is the first time that Jammu district has got such a big responsibility. He said that the whole process would be done better by the District Cricket Association. Manoj Kumar Singh said that the selection process has started from June 11, in which eight U-19 teams are participating. In which all the matches will be divided into four teams in Jamui and four teams in Zaza and will be held on T20 basis.

Two matches will be played in a day in both the places. He said that the team will be selected based on the good performance of the players in all the matches.

The senior team also has to be selected
President Manoj Kumar Singh said that after completing the selection process of the U-19 teams, the Bihar Senior Women’s Cricket Team will also be selected by the District Cricket Association. He said that from June 16, the senior women’s team will reach Jammu today. In which T20 format match will be held. The players who perform better in the ODI matches will be selected in the Bihar team.

Manoj Kumar Singh said that Yashita Singh and Vaidehi Yadav of the Under-19 India D team are also participating. Now there is enthusiasm among the players regarding this Mahakumbha of cricket in Jammu.
