The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that the re-examination of UGC NET will be conducted online in the form of Computer Based Test (CBT). The UGC NET exam held on June 18 was canceled a day later i.e. on June 19 due to paper leak. NTA has announced the exam dates again.

The UGC NET June 2024 exam was earlier conducted in pen and paper (offline) mode, NTA said. It will now be conducted in CBT mode. The exam will now be conducted in multiple shifts between August 21 and September 4. NTA was till now conducting UGC NET for Assistant Professorship, Junior Research Fellowship and PhD admissions in CBT mode.

Now National Testing Agency (NTA) has decided to make UGC NET online as before. Candidates have welcomed the announcement of the exam date and the announcement of conducting the exam online. Candidates preparing for UGC NET and appearing for the exam on June 18 were hit hard by the cancellation of the exam. Firstly, the examination centers were set up at very long distances and the candidates were seen in chaos at the examination centres. Many candidates missed the exam. Candidates also created ruckus at the examination center. NTA announced the exam dates late on Friday night. The UGC NET exam will be conducted between August 21 to September 4.

While the CSIR NET exam has been announced from July 25 to July 27, the NCET 2024 exam will be held online on July 10. The UGC NET exam was conducted on June 18 in 83 subjects. The exam was conducted in two shifts in 317 cities of the country. In which more than 11.21 lakh candidates had registered and 81 percent candidates appeared in the exam. Let us tell you that the CSIR NET exam was to be held from 25 to 27 June. which was postponed on June 21.
