Zimbabwe squad for India T20I series: The five-match T20 International series between Zimbabwe and India is scheduled to start from July 6. Hosts Zimbabwe announced the 17-member squad for the upcoming series on Monday. Zimbabwe will be led by 38-year-old all-rounder Sikanjar Raza. He is the most experienced player in the team. The Zimbabwe team failed to qualify for the recently concluded T20 World Cup 2024. Uncapped 25-year-old Antum Naqvi has been included in the Zimbabwe squad but there is a catch.

In fact, Belgium-born Antam will join the team only after his citizenship is confirmed. Naqvi’s parents are of Pakistani origin but were born in Brussels (Belgium). Then he went to Australia.
